2012 finds business better than usual at WOOTEN’S LANDSCAPING. Of course, the winter has been mild, but our business has been great over the past 2 years during the nation's economic recession. WOOTEN’S LANDSCAPING has been in business for 30 yrs. They pride themselves in their many repeat customers, some as many as 15-20 yrs. This company has been doing commercial and residential landscaping under the same name in the same community year round for 30 years. That speaks volumes. These services include DESIGN, CONSULTATION, INSTALLATION and MAINTENANCE on LANDSCAPING, TREES, LAWNS, FENCES, etc. Their diversified services also include TREE TRIMMING, TREE & STUMP REMOVAL, LAWN MAINTENANCE, PRIVACY SCREEN and HYDRO-SEEDING.

Commercial Experience & Education

The credentials at WOOTEN’S LANDSCAPING include 4 degrees in landscaping, forestry, horticulture, and AG. ED. The work experience includes teaching landscaping and forestry, management of a nursery and a garden center prior to going into business in 1980. Since then they have landscaped 7 new schools, 10 nursing homes, 6 downtown revitalization projects, 3 hospitals, 7 churches, a federal prison, many O.D.O.T. facilities and many other commercial & municipal projects. By far however, the broad residential customer base is where WOOTEN’S LANDSCAPING serves the multitudes. Wooten’s have always been known for unique landscaping design & installation, but in recent years, they have greatly expanded their landscape, lawn & tree maintenance programs.

Products & Services

Hydroseeding

Aqua green mix you’ve seen sprayed on people’s lawns. It is Actually the quickest way to get a lawn by seeding because the seed starts germination in the water mix tank. With no straw to blow around or remove this is the way to go. It’s a good deal at a good price because it’s a “ONE SHOT” deal. The seed, lime, fertilizer, green hydra-mulch and tacifier are all sprayed on at once.

Perennials

Perennials include many colors, sizes and varieties of- daylily, coral bells, dianthus, lavender, sedum and ornamental grasses. The hardscape choices of mulch, stone, and boulder are available in various colors and types. Both are placed on weed mat giving it a good look and easy maintenance.

The WHOLESALE NURSERY

The WHOLESALE NURSERY is located on US RT 23, FIVE miles north of Lucasville, Ohio. This is the largest selection of trees, shrubs and perennials in southern Ohio. You will find 15,000 trees there including shade, evergreen, ornamental, weeping, fruit, and street trees ranging from 3’ to 15’ and prices at PRICED AT WHOLESALE TO THE PUBLIC.

Weeping Trees

Ornamental trees would be flowering crab-apple, pear, plum, dogwood and cherry.

Deciduous conifers

Deciduous conifers are 3 types-bald cypress, dawn redwood and larch. This type of tree typically is lime green in the summer months and apricot in the fall. It is self shaping into an excellent conical upright shape.

Evergreen Trees

Evergreen trees are pine, spruce, fir and hemlock. Sizes 4'-12' available. Excellent privacy screen choice.
